A Calligraphy Pen and some White card ....

I’ve never thought of myself as particularly blessed in the drawing department. However, my philosophy is to not focus on what you can’t do, but to concentrate your mind on what you can do to rectify this. I have a sketchbook, which to be honest I have had for years and never really looked at (let alone opened it and started drawing in it) but this year I decided to make a conscious effort to practice my drawing skills and produce something that I can be proud of. I have always been drawn to anything nature related - flowers, trees, wildlife, I love it all (as you will observe in a lot of my work!), so naturally I wanted to work on my floral designs. After a lot of YouTube vids and online tutorials, my sketchbook started to fill up - mainly with flower doodles but every little helps.

So, with all that in mind I have started to design some alphabet sketches which are monochrome and incorporate flowers and a little addition of wildlife. I hope to be selling these as prints at the start of next year.
